Accommodation In Furnas Sao Miguel

My Wife Bonnie and I just returned from a holiday in Sao Miguel April 1 to 14, 2012. We really appreciated your site and used your Quinta das Acacias site for the last 8 nights. Ed & Bonita are great hosts and the cottage accommodation was excellent.

We spent the first 4 nights at Residential Vale Verde in Furnas. This Hotel is family operated with 10 spotless rooms. We ate all our meals there since the mother is an excellent cook. The son was on the desk and waited at the table. He was most helpful for information and really stressed local island history, foods and other information. The cost of the accommodation and meals were very good value.This family lived for a while in Toronto,Canada. The father is an excellent finished carpenter and built the Hotel.

I would strongly recommend that you consider the Vale Verde Hotel as an accommodation site in the east end of the island.
