weather in April

would love to go to Azores on my wifes birthday but she is a girl from NY and enjoys beach and the sun and warm weather so I don't know whether I go there or the usual caribbean?

Hi there, thanks for asking. The weather in April will not be beach weather. June - September are the best times to go for beach lovers.

Don't want to contradict Rob, but we were there April and May of this year, and the weather was very nice most of the time! We did have some sporadic rains, but they were light and not a problem at all. Take a drive an do other things on those days.

This may vary yr to yr, but also keep in mind that the warmer summer time is also "high season" and will also be a bit more costly.
